November is the month to give thanks and we would like to take this opportunity to recognize all of the senior workers in our community. Thank you for being a MASWA member and for serving the seniors in our community with such amazing dedication, passion and energy.

NOVEMBER MEMBERSHIP MEETING
November - There will be no MASWA membership meeting in November due to the Thanksgiving holiday. December - Save the Date for a MASWA Membership Holiday Networking Social in place of our monthly meeting on Wednesday, December 16^th at Schullers Bar in Golden Valley from 3:00 - 6:00 pm.

PRESIDENT'S MONTHLY NOTE

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and I wanted to thank our membership for your continued support. We have such an amazing community of professionals who place a high value on great education and networking. MASWA allows us all to continue to grow and expand our knowledge of both current trends and the resources available allowing us to serve our seniors better. For that I am truly grateful. I would also like to thank the entire MASWA board. Our board is made up of 100% volunteers who dedicate many hours of their personal time to make sure we continue to be a vibrant and growing organization. I am humbled to work beside so many wonderful professionals who work so hard. Thank you!

I would also like to take a moment to thank the Fall Aging Conference Steering Committee for putting on an amazing 41st Annual Fall Aging Conference. The response from that day was overwhelmingly positive and it is so amazing to watch the conference get better and better with each passing year. Like the MASWA board the Steering Committee is made up of entirely of volunteers who put in countless hours to pull off an event of this magnitude. The Fall Aging Conference is the main income generator for both MASWA and SPASWA and it allows us to keep our membership rates low. Thanks so much to each member of the committee for your hard work!

Just a couple of quick reminders:

- We do not have a regular monthly meeting in the month of November as our meetings day always falls on Thanksgiving. We hope you enjoy the time with your family and friends!

- This December as a thanks to our members we have decided to do MASWA Membership Holiday Networking Social on Wednesday, December 16^th. We look forward to seeing everyone there!!!

MASWA MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL FOR 2016

Season's Greetings! Holiday time is once again upon us and I wanted to remind everyone that the annual MASWA membership expires on December 31st. With the new year comes time for membership renewal. We are working to grow our membership and we want you to spread the word about our great organization and invite other professionals to join our group as well. Please remember that your membership is an individual membership and can not be transferred to another person. I really do hope you are planning to join us again in 2016. Please renew early and take full advantage of your MASWA membership in 2016!

Are your days really busy and you need an incentive to fit in just one more thing? Consider it done! Renew or join by the end of January and be entered in a drawing for fabulous prizes.
