June is here along with the warm weather that we have all waited so long for.  Though I must admit it is hard to believe just how quickly the first half of the year has flown by!  With the temps continuing to soar and school letting out it is now time to slow down a bit and enjoy all of the wonderful summer activities that Minnesota has to offer.

Last month we had our Spring Conference and Annual Business Meeting.  What a lovely afternoon filled with great friends, good food and of course a wonderful speaker.  We have received great feedback thus far about the new location and the timing of the day.  If you have not had a chance yet to fill out the survey regarding this wonderful event please take a quick moment to do so. The information you provide to us is reviewed and helps us continue to adjust to meet the needs of our membership.

Each year the Spring Conference and Annual Business Meeting replaces our normally scheduled monthly meeting.  It has come to my attention that we did not send out a reminder letting our membership know of this deviation from our regularly scheduled meetings and for that I would like to sincerely apologize.  We work hard to communicate these changes and give reminders and I failed to make sure that this happened.  Please know that we are working even harder than ever to make sure that a lack of communication does not occur again.

This month is our first of two Joint Public Policy meetings of the year.  Our speaker will be from Care Providers and we will get a wonderful legislative update on what has occurred in the most recent legislative session in regards to senior care industry.  You will not want to miss this!  We look forward to seeing you on June 25th.
