PRESIDENT'S MONTHLY NOTE | |
It is finally Spring! The time we all anxiously await during the long cold months of January and February. Unfortunately, the weather has not yet realized that we liked the 60 and 70 degree days at the beginning of the month and that this snow is way overdue and could have been held till next year! With Spring time comes the MASWA Annual Spring Conference. The Members at Large have been working very hard at refreshing the conference this year. They have selected a new venue and a new format for the day. We are very excited to announce that registration for the event has opened so don't delay register today! You may register online at www.seniorworkers.org. This month we have a very exciting speaker. Back by popular demand is John MacDougall from The Retreat. He will be speaking to us about addiction in our aging population. You will not want to miss this. I look forward to seeing you on March 26th!
