For info about BDC, go here.

This year, our rising eighth grade campers added to the already exciting Rock On - as well as creating a lasting mark on a camp rock and placing somewhere personally special on our campus, these girls and boys shared their final camper lunch sitting around the BDOC campfire sharing their fondest BDC memory. What a great FINALE for their childhood at BDC.

"Hold on to what is good, even if it is a handful of earth.

Hold on to what you believe, even if it is a tree that stands by itself.

Hold on to what you must do, even if it is a long way from here.

Hold on to Life, even if it is easier letting go.

Hold on to my hand, even when I have gone away from you."

Camp may have reached its FINALE, but the friendships made here have just begun!

Hello BDC Family and Friends,

Endings can be bitter-sweet. And the close of a stupendous camp season is all that and more! Our grand FINALE at camp last week left us all wanting more. BDC'14 will be remembered as one of our finest seasons: we had more sunny days than the average summer; our staff was amazingly synergistic; and our camp family grew in number; and we are all sad to say goodbye to the end of a fantastic season.

I hope that wherever you are now, you are feeling the satisfaction of a summer well-played! If you have any regrets, there is still time to make that special thing happen! Go create your own FINALE to summer 2014 and go out with a bang! We sure did at 3570 Main Street.

Please take a moment to complete our Family Survey HERE and let us know how well we met your expectations.

Look for eWAVES to resume in the off-season on the first on the month beginning in October. As always, we look forward to hearing from you in the winter months and are eager to reconnect on Cape Cod in a ten short months!

PS. We are eagerly launching our BDC H.O.W.L. Program (Hollistic Outdoor Wilderness Leadership = H.O.W.L.) which will happen year round at 3570 Main Street on Cape Cod beginning September 2 and 3, 2014 with all-day programing run by our very own Taryn vanEsselstyn and Dan Morris. Look for more information about the BDC H.O.W.L. Program below and in separate emails. Plan your Cape Cod vacations this winter to include time at BDC on the weekends and during holidays. How excellent is that!?
BDC H.O.W.L PROGRAM

Would you like to be part of BDC year round? Now you can! Beginning next week on September 2 and 3, 2014 we are offering all day programming run by our very own BDC Guides, Taryn vanEsselstyn (formerly BDOC Head) and Dan Morris (formerly eCOD Head). Both of these experienced, master level teachers specialize in nature immersion as well as individual and group initiatives using our Low Ropes Course and all of the great doors as our classroom.

Come to 3570 Main Street on Cape Cod afternoons and during your winter Cape Cod vacations during the holidays. For more information email us at info@brewsterdaycmp.com or call 508-896-6555.

If you are ready to sign up NOW, you can down load the simple form here: HOWL Sign Up Form

Remember the BDC H.O.W.L. Program stands for Holistic Outdoor Wilderness Leadership = H.O.W.L.

The best way to enjoy the FINALE of anything is spending time at favorite activities with friends.

As activities came to a close at BDC, many campers were able to do their favorite activities so that they could spend their FINAL camp moments doing what they loved most! Pictured here is Sailors Hill building sandbox volcanoes to erupt at WOW.

The camper vs. counselor dodgeball game is a staple of Wampanoag Day, which occurs on the last Thursday of camp each year. It was a perfect way (and a perfect day!) to celebrate camp's FINALE!

From the BDC Family to YOUR Family,
we are wishing you...

COURAGE, HOPE, GOOD SPIRIT & PEACE!
