Summer is in full swing and we would like to invite you to wakesurf behind our Nautique G21 for FREE! Wakesurfing is low-impact, easy to learn, and happens near the boat at relatively slow speeds. Each Friday and Sunday we will offer you a chance to wakesurf in Harbor Springs or Charlevoix. Two sessions will be held each Friday Night. The first session will run from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm, followed by a session from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. On Sunday Mornings, we will be surfing in the calm morning water from 9:30 am - 11:00 am. We can surf up to 5 people in a session. We also welcome up to 7 additional guests to come along for the ride and cheer on their friends and family. We require that anyone under 18 be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Nautique G21, features the revolutionary Nautique Surf System with WAVEPLATE and ballast tanks that can create monstrous wakes for surfing. |

NM 17 underwent a complete restoration this winter and is looking spectacular for being 80-years-old! Originally named Bee Gee and built in 1935 for a Lake Charlevoix resident, NM 17 has since migrated to Harbor Springs with the rest of the active NM Fleet. This winter, we removed the existing finish, replaced the screws on the entire hull with bronze screws, replaced the splines with cypress bound by epoxy and smoothed the hull to make fair. After the hull was smooth, we painted the hull and varnished the deck for a spectacular finish! To complete the package, a custom made set of sails were ordered and installed on the boat. Finally, Ethos is ready for a summer of racing! 18 Northern Michigan Sloops were originally built, with an additional 8 being built by Irish Boat Shop, for a total of 26 boats. These 32-foot sloops are both elegant and fast one-design boats kept on moorings around Harbor Springs. The fleet is very active and can be seen racing most weekends during the summer around Little Traverse Bay. For More Information on the NMs ![]() |
Silipint at Irish Boat Shop |

We are now carrying Silipint silicone drinkware in both locations. Silicone is extremely resistant to heat and cold, functioning from -72°F to 650°F. You can bake muffins or freeze ice in your Silipints that are easily removed. Silicone also insulates hot and cold drinks. The ink printed on the side is also silicone based and will not fade or chip away. They are sturdy enough to hold beverages and flexible enough to bounce and bend when empty. The best part about silicone is that it won't break if you take a rogue wave on the water! You can do this with them too! Please contact us for more information. ![]() |
