Launch is fast approaching, so be sure to send your launch forms back to us as soon as possible. We are working on getting everything done before your boat goes to the water! If you have any projects you would like to work on, please, let us know as soon as possible. The warm weather has us in high spirits at the prospect of spring. Have your boat looking its best this summer with a wax or fresh varnish job. We look forward to seeing you in a couple of months!

Say ya to da U.P. Boat Show in the largest wooden dome in the world! The U.P. Boat, Sport & RV Show is one of the largest events in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, each year. The 22nd Annual Show runs from March 20th-22nd in Marquette on the campus of Northern Michigan University at the Superior Dome. We will be inside with the Amphibious Sealegs, an Unsinkable Boston Whaler, and our brokerage display booth. We will also be having a Dutch Auction for our last two new Yamaha Generators with prices dropping every hour until the end of the show. We hope to see you soon in the north!

We will also be at the Traverse City Boat Show from April 10th-12th.

Mike and Becky of The Canvas Company have now been working out of our sail loft in Harbor Springs for several months. Since 2008, The Canvas Company has served the boating industry in Northern Michigan. They design and build dodgers, biminis, enclosures, awnings, and a wide variety of covers using the highest quality construction and materials. They have repaired sails and fabricated canvas on boats ranging in size from 8 feet to 110 feet! They believe each piece should be constructed with the customers' needs in mind.

A Northern Michigan native and boating enthusiast, Becky Pattinson is a licensed Professional Engineer who graduated from the University of Michigan and worked for years as an electric power engineer in the US Virgin Islands. Since 2001, she has been working in the marine canvas industry, where she has applied her design, engineering, and project management skills. Mike McWilliams has a business degree from the University of Texas and worked in banking for more than 15 years before pursuing his passion for sailing. After racing professionally for several years, he began his sail making career in Hawaii, which continued at North Sails in Fort Lauderdale and then started Florida Sails, Inc with Becky.
