Local Sailor Competes in Moth Worlds

A sailor from Harbor Springs, George "Bear" Peet, has competed in the Moth Worlds in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii and finished 12^th. This race included 80 sailors from 15 countries competing on a fiercely competitive and complex boat. Bear graduated from Harbor Springs High School and works all over the world as a professional sailor. He is currently living in Detroit with two time moth world champion (2009 and 2013) Bora Gulari. The two of them also own a Melges 24 and in 2011 won the Melges 24 World Championship. Bear can often be seen sailing his moth on Little Traverse Bay and on Lake Charlevoix.

No More Paper Charts

NOAA has decided to stop making paper charts. This decision has been made to save money and help them focus on electronic charts. Their commercial partners OceanGrafix and East View Geospatial will still provide "print on demand" charts. These charts are printed when ordered and shipped directly to the customer. This ensures that your getting the most current chart possible.

We still have a large selection of charts in-stock and we're offering them at 20% off.
