A Big Snowball Welcome to Bogan High School!

We would like to welcome Bogan High School and Chapter leader Javier Brathwaite as the newest Chapter of Operation Snowball. Home of the Bengals, Bogan HS is located at 3939 West 79th Street in Chicago. The school's vision statement is Excellence Today-Success Tomorrow. We are thrilled that Operation Snowball is now a part of this great school. Go Bengals!

New OS Youth Board Member: Andrew Pelarinos

We are very excited to have Andrew Pelarinos, a senior at Schaumburg High School, join the Operation Snowball Board of Directors as a Youth Advocate. Andrew recently served as the student Executive Director for Schaumburg's Snowball event this past spring. He has been involved with his school's Snowball for the past 3 years and has been to CGTI twice. Brent Swolsky, the Schaumburg HS Snowball Advisor said of Andrew, "I have often turned to him for advice on how to get the most out of our staff members. Andrew really has an understanding of how people tick and works to bring out the best in those around him; his personality lights up the room!"

How Does OS and CGTI Change Lives?

Throughout Illinois over 11,000 students annually attend an Operation Snowball event in their school and community. Last year, over 400 attended the Cebrin Goodman Teen Institute. Youth and adults, 1st timers and old timers, parents and teachers all let us know what OS and CGTI means to them.
