Service providers and vendors will be exhibiting on the plaza to show what they are doing to preserve the environment, and what you can do to help.

New Tenants

They've been working hard to perfect their coffee drinks, home-baked treats, delicious sandwiches, salads and soups. Beginning Wednesday, April 23rd at 7am, they'll have a menu of freshly made savory and sweet goodies, and craft coffee drinks to start your day.

Farmer's Market
303 Second Street,in conjunction with
Urban Table, continues to bring the Farmers' Market to the plaza every Wednesday, from 10 AM to 2 PM.
Vendors are currently providing seasonal and local fruits and vegetables, nuts, floral arrangements and freshly popped kettle corn.

Electronic Recycling
Our next electronic recycling pickups are May 15th and June 19th. Be sure to visit our website for the procedures and a list of items that can be recycled!
Electronic recycling takes place the third Thursday of each month.

Summer Sustainability Tips
 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recognized Kilroy Realty Corporation (KRC) as a 2014 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year. This award recognizes that, through our partnership with the ENERGY STAR program, we have improved the energy performance of our buildings, saved money for our tenants, and helped protect the environment for future generations.
Here at 303 Second Street we are currently in the midst of swapping out 88 high flow 3.5 GPF toilets with high efficiency 1.28 GPF toilets. Based on the figures from the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission this will save us approximately $30K per year in water costs, and decrease 303 Second's total toilet water consumption by 27%.
Sustainability tip: Utilizing the blinds in your space is a simple and great way to save electricity during the summertime. The blinds will decrease the solar load that your space absorbs from the windows, reducing your space's cooling demand.
