RoomKey, a tailored hotel search engine, has opened a second office at 100 10th Street, NE in Charlottesville, just off the Downtown Mall. RoomKey was founded in Dallas, Texas in January 2012 by six of the world's leading hotel companies to provide personalized options and easy price comparison for clients searching for the perfect hotel. RoomKey offers direct connections to hotels in 159 countries on six continents in over 6,000 cities. In searching out a company to design and build its new office, RoomKey selected local architecture and construction firm, Alloy Workshop, to undertake the project. The new office offers the Development Team space for focused work, open collaborative spaces, small project meeting rooms, and two central conference rooms. 

Goldman Sachs is now accepting applications from small business owners for a 4th National Education Class of 10,000 Small Businesses this fall at Babson College. This is a one-of-a-kind educational opportunity for small businesses with limited resources that are committed to growing their businesses and creating jobs in their communities.

Through a blend of online sessions and on-site visits to Babson College, businesses will learn from some of the brightest minds in business about accessing financial capital and building a powerful network of professional support. If accepted, the program will be offered at no cost to the small business owner selected for participation

It's that time of year again! Join us at the 2015 Charlottesville Community Job Fair, which will be held on Wednesday, May 6th from 10:00am until 3:00pm at John Paul Jones Arena. As the largest job fair of its kind in Central Virginia, last year's Charlottesville Community Job Fair put more than 1,000 job seekers in contact with over 80 organizations. Attending will be the area's most prominent employers including: the University of Virginia, the City of Charlottesville, nTelos Wireless, Wal-Mart Logistics, and many more. The event is free and open to all job seekers, but pre-registration is strongly suggested. To get the most out of the Charlottesville Community Job Fair, a pre-job fair workshop will also take place on Thursday, April 16th from 2:00pm until 3:30pm at CitySpace (100 5th Street, NE). Tips and tools needed to boost your potential and leave a lasting impression with recruiters will be provided.
