Service and Housing Interventions for Families in Transition Study 
 
Shift logoThis month, the Wilson Foundation hosted a series of community roundtables in Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, and Buffalo, NY to share insights from the Service and Housing Interventions for Families in Transition (SHIFT) study and discuss effective strategies for combating family homelessness. During the roundtables, The National Center presented study findings and implications, including the need for programs to provide trauma-informed care for families. Learn more.

The National Center's Kathleen Guarino will present on a webinar, How Trauma-Informed is Your Organization? Assessing and Improving Organizational Performance, hosted by PerformWell, on July 24 from 3-4:40 PM ET. She will discuss tangible, concrete things organizations can do to implement trauma-informed practices. The Trauma-Informed Organizational Self-Assessment will be introduced as a tool for assessing current practices and laying a foundation for shifting to trauma-informed organizational policies and practices.
