Help Update the Florida Campaign to End Child Homelessness Legislative Action Plan

You are invited to join the Campaign to End Child Homelessness on Thursday, December 13 from 2-3 PM ET to provide input to update the Florida Campaign to End Child Homelessness 2013 Legislative Action Plan. This Action Plan will help guide the Florida Campaign's policy initiatives during the upcoming legislative session.

During this one-hour, online meeting, participants will be asked to comment on a series of policy recommendations from the Florida Plan to End Child Homelessness and the 2012 Southeast Institute on Homelessness and Supporting Housing Working Group. The goal of the meeting will be to finalize the top five policy priorities for ending child and family homelessness in Florida for 2013. This Action Plan will be distributed to all state legislators.

If you are interested in joining this meeting, please RSVP to Corey Beach by Tuesday, December 11 via email at Corey.Beach@familyhomelessness.org or at 617-581-6798. Please include your full name, title, organization, and email address in your RSVP.

About the Florida Campaign to End Child Homelessness

The Florida Campaign to End Child Homelessness seeks to galvanize the public and political will necessary to end this crisis. Because it is unacceptable for any child to be homeless for even one night, the Florida Campaign to End Child Homelessness is a call to action with the goals of increasing public awareness, informing state and local policies, and improving programs and services to better address the needs of homeless children and families. The Florida Campaign is an initiative of the Campaign to End Child Homelessness at The National Center on Family Homelessness in partnership with the Florida Coalition for the Homeless.
