The Tuesday morning Pay It Forward Leads Group is looking to expand their membership and invites you to come and sit in on their next meeting on Tuesday, October 13th from 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. at One Southern Indiana (1si). Each seat at Pay It Forward is noncompetitive; there are never two people who paint, provide tax service, landscape, etc. This gives you an opportunity to be someone's go-to for your company's goods and services. Network of Champions is a popular monthly event which allows members and guests to network in a variety of ways. Over 50 individuals typically attend and enjoy quality networking opportunities which lead to results and collaborations. Attendees receive a monthly educational tip on how to make connections effectively and efficiently, making Network of Champions the perfect venue to brush up on your people skills and practice your "elevator speech."

Duke Energy Completes Site Readiness Program for Port of Indiana & Provides $10,000 Grant
Duke Energy has completed the evaluation of a 140-acre parcel inside the Port of Indiana-Jeffersonville in Clark County for the utility's 2015 Site Readiness Program.
In a meeting with local officials and community leaders, Duke Energy provided a detailed report about the site's viability and recommendations for improvement.  The report includes a technical review outlining strengths, weaknesses and recommendations for next steps. It also includes a marketing evaluation and suggestions for target industries. Nationally recognized consulting firm McCallum Sweeney Consulting (MSC) developed the recommendations. Read more

Integrity HR, Inc. celebrated their eighth year in business by opening a second office with a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, September 22nd at 4106 Reas Lane #1 in New Albany, Ind.
 They provide clients with a team of certified consultants that will serve as a business's strategic partner to identify and assess needs. The Indiana Regional Cities Initiative: A Look Inside
Today we review the proposal of the Southwest Indiana region, with Evansville, Ind. as its hub.
 The goals:
- Grow the population by 70,000 people - helping Indiana achieve its goal of growing the Indiana population by 2 million in ten years.
- Retain 80% of the physician residents graduating from Indiana University School of Medicine - Evansville as each physician will fill the gap in healthcare delivery while raising the per capita income to match the U.S. average.
- Expand the region's employment in the key sectors by 20% with an emphasis on innovation, research and development.
- Reinforce Evansville's role as a regional city, leveraging its strategic location to gain market share currently being captured by Nashville, St. Louis and Louisville; and,
- Increase the population in downtown Evansville by 2,500 residents through a focus on urban renewal and mixed-use development.
- Transform Evansville's downtown area into a vibrant 24/7 urban event center with a variety of choices for dining, nightlife, entertainment, housing, and unique experiences.
- Reinvigorate the network of historic places and enclaves of unique character, throughout the region, by enhancing and connecting them via integrated urban design and appropriate intermodal movement systems.
- Become the Midwestern city of choice for people desiring mid-size city living.

Mulligans Win 1si's First Golf League Season
1si is proud to announce the winners of its first season of the golf league. Over 40 participants and 6 teams competed on eight Tuesday nights at the Elk Run Golf course in Jeffersonville. Teams played head to head competition using a handicap system to equalize golf play. There were 50/50 drawings, closest to the pin contests and plenty of networking. Elk Run was a great host and made the experience memorable.
Many of the golfers had never played in a golf league, and there were all levels of skill participating. The "Mulligans" captained by Jeff Money, played a strong season and answered the challenge from all competitors. Scoring was close but the Mulligans toughed it out.
