Our Southern Indiana

In anticipation of the rollout of the state funded Regional Cities Initiative, we are harnessing the momentum created in the last three months and driving it toward the completion of a comprehensive and transformative plan for Southern Indiana.  Over 200 projects have been collected from the public visioning sessions, the website and social media forums and one-on-one interaction.  The projects have been broken down into general categories which include, but are not limited to:  Infrastructure, Transportation, Education and Workforce Development, Economic and Community Development, Tourism, Arts and Culture, Natural Assets and the Environment,  and Wellness through Healthy Living.  The process of choosing which projects will become a part of the state application will take place over the next few weeks as teams of stakeholders meet to discuss how each project would rate in feasibility, regional impact and fulfilling the vision elements.

Ideas are still being gathered and considered.  You can submit your transformative ideas to Our Southern Indiana by visiting the website:  www.oursouthernindiana.com or visiting us by Facebook and Twitter.
