Our Southern Indiana - The Regional Cities Initiative Update

Our Southern Indiana launches Website, Social Media Campaign

Our Southern Indiana announced the launch of its website www.oursouthernindiana.com, as well as a Facebook and Twitter page. The site lists goals, timelines and events where interested parties can register their opinion on the type of projects they support.

Pages on the site also pose questions to visitors that will help direct the efforts of the plan. Individuals are encouraged to create an account to keep up with the project and to contribute their ideas on how to improve Southern Indiana.

Our Southern Indiana, the local effort of the State of Indiana's new Regional Cities Initiative is a promising new program designed to spur growth and investment throughout Southern Indiana. One Southern Indiana (1si) and its partners kicked off the community-driven collaborative effort to develop a vision for the region now called Our Southern Indiana. This effort is bringing together diverse voices from across the region to pursue strategies to make the region more competitive, enhance quality of life, and share the story of our great communities.

What makes Southern Indiana special? What opportunities do you see to transform the region over the next ten years? Now is the time to join the conversation, share your ideas, and engage with your community for the future of Our Southern Indiana. The success of this process depends on you! Help us spread the word and please join us at the upcoming public workshops on April 10-11.
