Register online for email renewal notifications from the Secretary of State's Office
|
With no state budget in place, Illinoisans are being called upon to take more responsibility for renewal of their license plates. The Secretary of State's Office has announced suspension of its mailed license plate renewal program, savings nearly $450,000 a month in postage money. But motorists can still receive a reminder notice via email. Click here to sign up.
The registration ID and PIN from the vehicle registration form are necessary to sign up, but motorists who don't have those materials handy can find them by calling the Public Inquiry Division at 800-252-8980.

Recycle Sheets, Blankets, Towels, for the Dogs |
If you have used towels, sheets or blankets that need to be recycled, please consider bringing them to Fremont Township at 22385 Rt 60, Mundelein to be donated to local Animal Shelters and Rescues. Please drop them in the bin on the front porch. This keeps them out of the landfill and puts them to good use.
We also accept eye glasses and shoes to be recycled year round. If you are disposing of shoes that have laces, please tie the laces together.
