Volunteer to help at the Township Community Garden
We are very proud of our Fremont Township Community Garden which functions as a source of food for our low income seniors and food pantry clients. The garden has also become an educational opportunity for residents, scouts and community groups and a great place to meet new friends.  You are welcome and invited to get involved with our garden. Please contact Alicia Dodd at [email protected] and like the Facebook page.
Ten Internships Available at Circuit Clerk's Office

Ten full-time, paid summer internships will be available within the Lake County Circuit Clerk's Office.  The program provides an opportunity for students to experience working in public service and government while learning about the services the Circuit Clerk's Office provides to the community. Interns must be enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Applications are available at the circuit clerk's website.

Defensive Driving Class
AARP and Fremont Township will be hosting a defensive driving class for drivers 55 and older which will be held on Thursday May 14 and Friday May 15, 2015 from 9 am to 1 pm.  You must attend both classes.  Please call 847 223-2847 to register.  Class size is limited to 25.  Cost is $15.00 if you are an AARP member.  $20.00 for non-AARP member.
