No Roundabout at Gilmer and Midlothian 
As of December 2014, preliminary engineering for the Gilmer Road - Midlothian Road intersection improvement is nearing completion. A traditional signalized intersection has been selected as the preferred alternative. LCDOT is anticipating a Public Hearing for the project in the Spring of 2015 where they will present the preferred alternative.

In the event you need to dispose of electronics recycling, I am including the locations.

Fremont Township Holiday Program
Thank you to all who participated in our Holiday Programs this year.  
78 Seniors received gift bags, 42 families received holiday dinners, and 165 residents received gifts. Our food pantry is well-stocked due to all the food drives by residents, schools, scouts, businesses, churches and community groups. These programs are so successful due to our caring and generous community and were funded by 100% donations.  

We will be sorting food on Tuesday, December 30 at 10 am.  If you would like to help, come on over!!!

morning featuring area preschool and daycare providers.
Please note that this is an informational event only, and
registrations will not be taken. Plan to drop in! If the
weather is severe, the Preschool & Daycare Fair will be

Having trouble finding what you need on the Internet? Come to this class and
learn the best way to search for the information you want. You will get to try out
some search strategies online with plenty of time to practice. (R)

Meet the Computer

Wednesdays, Jan. 21 & 28, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Never tried a computer before? In this course you will get to meet the computer,
the keyboard and the mouse, and you will learn what they are and how to use
them. No experience is necessary for you to take this relaxed, fun class. (R)

Try Your Hand at iPad

Tuesdays, Jan. 13 & 20, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Learn the basic tricks and techniques for using your iPad including: physical
layout of buttons and features, navigating screens and apps, connecting to the
Internet, overview of included apps, downloading apps from the Apple Store and the settings you need to know. Please bring your own iPad fully charged. The library does not provide iPads for student use. (R)

Recycle towels, sheets, blankets, eye glasses, shoes
If you have used towels, sheets or blankets that need to be recycled, please consider bringing them to Fremont Township at 22385 Rt 60, Mundelein to be donated to local Animal Shelters. Please drop them in the bin on the front porch. This keeps them out of the landfill and puts them to good use.  

We also accept eye glasses and shoes to be recycled year round.  
New State of Illinois Laws for 2015

On Jan. 1, 2015, more than 200 new laws will take effect in Illinois touching many areas of state government from education and public safety, to transportation and wildlife. Following are a few of the notable measures taking effect when the new year begins.
