Congratulations Alicia Dodd
As you have read in my newsletters, the Village of Mundelein Homesteaders adopted the Fremont Township Community Garden this year.  The space has become an organic, ecologically friendly garden that feeds many low income seniors and food pantry clients. It provides learning opportunities and workshops to teach gardening skills and an outdoor classroom for scout and 4-H groups. Volunteers are meeting new friends and building community and connection, while helping to get fresh vegetables to those less fortunate in our community.  Fremont Township resident Alicia Dodd is being honored for her efforts in leading this effort and will be honored on Thursday by Suburban Life Magazine as a Lake County Woman of Distinction.
We are proud of Alicia and so thankful for her leadership.
