The school year has already begun for many of you, which means it's time to "Rise & Shine" each day and open our minds and our hearts to new experiences and new opportunities to learn!

We can't think of a better way to shine than for 13-18-year old girls and their mothers or significant female role models in their lives to join us at our "Informed & Strong" Summit for Women and Girls on October 24-25 at The Omni New Haven Hotel at Yale.

Our stellar lineup of speakers includes Yellowberry Founder and teen entrepreneur, Megan Grassell; NBC Entertainment President, Jen Salke; CEO of the Ms. Foundation for Women, Teresa Younger; a diverse panel of teens who will have an honest and thought-provoking conversation about race; and dozens more!

Daisy Bowl 2015 Huddle

I was delighted to meet with this Milford, Connecticut Daisy Bowl 2015 team, winners of the GUESS Watches, as they began strategizing for the 2016 game!

Last February they played on a field covered in almost 3' of snow - believe it or not, these ladies are hoping for another snowy game day!
