Where will you go this year, where will your feet take you?
When we set an intention or a destination for ourselves, it is perfectly natural to focus on the end-game, to keep our eye on "the prize."
But don't forget to enjoy the first step. Each step, for that matter.
If you've set a New Year resolution or intention for yourself, also consider giving yourself permission to live in the moment, moving toward "the prize," but thoroughly, joyfully, and intentionally cherishing each step along the way.
The Get In Touch Foundation began as an idea nearly eleven years ago, and while we have had laser-like focus on our mission of providing Daisy Wheels and breast health education at no cost to girls in schools all over the world, we have also enjoyed and cherished the journey.
Whether it is meeting with School Nurses from all over the world and introducing them to the Get In Touch Girls' Program & Daisy Wheels, or speaking with a Get In Touch Youth Ambassador excitedly planning an awareness and fundraising effort in her high school, we are present to that moment, cherishing each and every step as we move toward "the prize" of free breast health education for all!

New York City Pretty In Pink
We are thrilled that our friend Alex Witt from "Weekends with Alex Witt" on MSNBC is chairing The Get In Touch Foundation's 3rd Annual New York City Pretty In Pink Cocktail Cabaret & Woman of Strength Award - and so delightfully fitting since we are honoring broadcast journalism trailblazer Shirley Wershba, one of the founding producers of CBS' 60 Minutes.
Shirley and her late-husband Joe were the subject of George Clooney's 2005 film, "Good Night, and Good Luck," nominated for six Academy Awards. Patricia Clarkson played Shirley in the film, and Robert Downey, Jr. played her husband Joe.

Broadway's inimitable Jim Ferris will be our host again this year, bringing along a stellar mix of Broadway's finest to perform throughout the evening.
Join us on February 25th from 7-9pm at The Yale Club of NYC in the Roof Dining Room.

Brava, Karyn, Brava!!

When you get one, you give one!
Presenting a Daisy Wheel to newly-diagnosed patients who have daughters or granddaughters who would benefit from breast health education makes a diagnosis in a family a life giving moment as well as a teaching moment. Daisy Wheels may be purchased for $5 each and come in packages of 25. When you purchase a Daisy Wheel, you are also helping to provide a Daisy Wheel to a girl somewhere in the world who will have FREE breast health education because of YOU! It's simple..."When you get one, you give one!"
Click the Daisy Wheel on the right to find out more.

Download our FREE Daisy Wheel App
We are over the moon about the Daisy Wheel© App,
which has been downloaded in 82 countries! If you're an iPad, iPod Touch or iPhone user, go to the iTunes App Store and download it for free.
If you love it as much as we do, we'd be grateful if you'd help us spread the word by telling your friends and writing a review, too.
It's making our mission to "change the world one girl at a time" a global reality!
