Wow, September has been busy, busy, busy here at Get In Touch!

Our biggest news is our exciting new philanthropic partnership with GUESS Watches and their Sparkling Pink Special Edition Watch to benefit GIT! Working with their fabulous team to help bring the important lifesaving mission of Get In Touch to an even wider global audience has been a dream come true!

We have always known it was just "a matter of time" before we caught the eye of an organization interested in partnering with us for all the right reasons, but we never realized how prophetic those words would prove to be!

As October approaches, or as we like to refer to it,
"Breast HEALTH Awareness Month," we hope you'll take the time to explore philanthropic companies such as GUESS Watches, who are making a real difference with their contributions to lifesaving nonprofit organizations like The Get In Touch Foundation.

We hope that with all the "pink" you see in October that it will serve as a reminder all year long to do your BSE and be breast healthy. And please be sure to remind your loved ones to do their BSE, including men, who can also be diagnosed with breast cancer.

It's time, my friends ... #timetoGIT !!

"Shine On Beautiful" song to benefit GIT

Grammy-nominated songwriter Sarah Hart (right) wrote "Shine On Beautiful" for
The Get In Touch Foundation to encourage girls to celebrate the beauty within.

Performed by Karyn Williams (left), "Shine On Beautiful" is now

St. Vincent's Parish Nurses

It was an honor and a privilege to spend time at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT speaking to Parish Nurses about the mission of The Get In Touch Foundation and the importance of breast health education and early detection.
New Canaan Book Club Evening with the Author

Delighted to have spent a lovely evening with these wonderful women of the New Canaan, Connecticut Book Club for an "Evening with the Author" to benefit The Get In Touch Foundation.

"I laughed and cried - sometimes at the same time - while reading Mary Ann's book," said Pam Crigler. "She turns her life threatening illness into an opportunity for all of us to benefit. The Daisy Wheel is a wonderfully simple tool that I want in the hands of my daughters and all their friends."

If you are in the Connecticut-area and interested in having an "Evening with the Author" event to benefit Get In Touch, please contact us here.
Get In Touch with Genetics

It was an honor to speak to Mrs. Lisa Cellini's Genetics Class at my alma mater, St. Joseph High School in Trumbull CT. I spoke to students about my breast cancer, breast health, and the mission of The Get In Touch Foundation, along with my sister Diane Erdos, an oncology nurse who shared 30+years of personal and professional experience to an eager audience.

Students, parents, and faculty were engaged and appreciative, and we were delighted to kick off their Autumn Bio-Connections Evening Lecture Series!
When you get one, you give one!

Daisy Wheel against map

Presenting a Daisy Wheel to newly diagnosed patients who have daughters or granddaughters who would benefit from breast health education makes a diagnosis in a family a life giving moment as well as a teaching moment.

Daisy Wheels may be purchased for $4 each and come in packages of 25.

When you purchase a Daisy Wheel, you are also helping to provide a Daisy Wheel to a girl somewhere in the world who will have FREE breast health education because of YOU!

It's simple..."When you get one, you give one!"

Download our FREE Daisy Wheel App

We are over the moon about the Daisy Wheel© App,

which has now been downloaded in 80 countries!  If you're an iPad, iPod Touch or iPhone user, go to the iTunes App Store and download it for free.

If you love it as much as we do, we'd be grateful if you'd help us spread the word by telling your friends and writing a review, too.

It's making our mission to "change the world one girl at a time" a global reality!
