Greetings!
Last month was filled with serendipitous events!
My memoir, "A Diary of Healing: My Intense and Meaningful Life with Cancer" was released...and we had our first Charlottesville, Virginia "Pretty In Pink" Brunch & "Woman of Strength" event!
We had an unexpected donation from another non-profit organization...and we were invited to Washington, DC by my friend and fellow breast cancer survivor, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, to celebrate the third anniversary of the ever so important EARLY Act.
We welcomed Sri Lanka as the 77th country to download our FREE Daisy Wheel app...and we were thrilled that the International School Nurses of Asia Conference featured a presentation about our Get In Touch Girls' Program!
We can't wait to tell you about April...it's already shaping up to be even more magnificent than March!
Hope Lives!

Spotlight on: "International School Nurses of Asia Conference"

Thank you to our good friend, School Nurse Miyoung Cho from Seoul, South Korea, who gave a Get In Touch Girls' Program & Daisy Wheel presentation at the conference, which was held last month in Brunei. And thank you to all the School Nurses who wore pink that day in support of Get In Touch! Hope Lives...on the other side of the globe!

Charlottesville Pretty In Pink...
The lovely (and hysterically funny!) breast cancer survivor, Myriam Pitts, accepts The Get In Touch Foundation's Charlottesville, Virginia "Woman of Strength" Award, March 3rd at The Greencroft Club.
This Belgian beauty is a mother of two daughters as well as a high school World Languages Teacher and Rowing Coach.
Myriam inspired us with her candid account of a frightening diagnosis, her ability to laugh while remaining in treatment, and her new mission of introducing breast health education to girls from Charlottesville to Brussells!
*Thanks to TeeVonTee Photography for this lovely photo and for photographing our entire event!

Where in the World is YOUR Daisy Wheel!
Yes, we know it's not a Daisy Wheel, it's Taylor Ritzel, our "GIT Your Pink On!" Day Coordinator and US Women's Rowing Gold Medal Olympian!
Taylor sent us this picture of herself in her GET IN TOUCH tee while on a training trip with her fellow Olympians in Australia.
If you've got a picture of your Daisy Wheel - or of yourself in your GIT gear - email it to us and you just may see yourself in an upcoming newsletter!
Please send your pics to info@getintouchfoundation.org.
