Greetings!

We are so proud of Malala Yousafzai, the 15-year old girl from Pakistan who risked her young life by speaking up and promoting education for girls and women's rights.

Malala is the youngest nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize in history.

The Get In Touch Foundation is committed to providing our FREE breast health educational initiative to girls all over the world.  Our FREE Daisy Wheel app has even been downloaded in Pakistan.

We continue to make a difference in the lives of girls all over the globe because of your support.

Pretty In Pink events..."GIT Your Pink On!" Day fundraisers...Laces For Lana...they all make a difference in the lives of girls like Malala...girls that want to learn.

And we all know that when you educate a girl, you educate the world.

Hope Lives!

Spotlight on Schools:  Nine States, Thousands of Girls

Daisy Wheel© The orders keep coming in!  This past month, 2,550 Daisy Wheels were delivered to schools in Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, Maryland, Indiana, Maine, Florida, Connecticut and Texas.

Never doubt that the Daisy Wheels impact not only the girls who receive them, but also their communities:  School Nurse Sydnee Johnsonbaugh at Larsen School in Oxnard, CA says "One student came to me the next day and said her mom was so thankful because she didn't know about breast exam.  Both fifth grade teachers were thankful as well because they had never been taught how to self exam, either."

"They Say There's Magic In the Air"

Those lyrics from "On Broadway" rang true at GIT's first annual New York City Pretty In Pink Cocktail Cabaret on February 21st.  Broadway performers sang show tunes, Ben Vereen stopped by to sing "The Impossible Dream," and we honored Women of Strength Victoria McMillan and her mother, Breast Cancer Survivor Patsy Kozlowski.  Host Jim Ferris, currently performing in The Lion King on Broadway, had us all in stitches with his story telling and jokes.  It was indeed a magical night!  Special thanks to Erin Maguire, Michael McCoy, Gaelen Gilliland, Christiane Noll, Rema Webb and pianist Brandon Magid for bringing Broadway to The Library at The Yale Club for our first New York City Pretty In Pink!

Special thanks to Teevon Tee Photography for not only being a Gold Sponsor,
but for photographing our event, as well - we can't wait to share more pics

Woman of Strength Amanda Buss Sivak was honored along with her Healing Team leader, Dr. Lori A. Alfonse, Medical Director of Breast Health Services at Lehigh Valley Health Network. Cristina Carotenuto of Lower Macungie Middle School was represented as the event's "Student Voice."  Thanks to Tracey Saab and the many dedicated volunteers who made the event such a fabulous success!
