Hello ,
As 2012 comes to a close, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for all of your support, making this year Get In Touch's most successful one yet!
My personal New Year's resolution for this year was to remind YOU at every twist and turn to "Choose Joy," and I sincerely hope that many of you found ways to do just that.
The recurrence of my breast cancer last year, as you know, has been challenging at times, bittersweet, but mostly sweet. I "Choose Joy" because like Emily Dickinson says above, "the mere sense of living is joy enough."
I "Choose Joy" with each Daisy Wheel that rolls into the hands of a girl somewhere in the world who is now armed with information about her body that may one day save her life.
I "Choose Joy" with each School Nurse that signs up for our free Get In Touch Girls' Program, knowing she is "changing the world one girl at a time" and making our mission a movement.
I "Choose Joy" with each Get In Touch Youth Ambassador that has made a commitment to breast health education in her community and the mission of GIT.
How can I not "Choose Joy?" Everywhere I turn, joy seems to choose me!
Blessings on you and your family for a Most Joyous Holiday!

Spotlight on Schools: Our Biggest Week Yet!
We had a wonderful surprise last month when School Health Supply featured GIT in its newsletter. The result? In one week, over 18,000 Daisy Wheels were ordered by school nurses in 26 states, Puerto Rico and Latvia!
We're so grateful to School Health for helping us "change the world, one girl at a time." Is your school helping girls Get In Touch with their bodies, information and one another in order to promote breast health? Click here to sign up.

Lauralton Hall Get In Touch Poster Contest
Each year the young ladies at Lauralton Hall in Milford, CT let their creativity get the best of them and hold a poster contest to express how they feel about Get In Touch. This year's entries made it tough to choose just one - congratulations to each "artist & activist" that participated, and Khema Ebron, Class of 2015, who took home the top prize!
