Countdown to Fall Festi-Dal Begins!!!!!
Join us for lots of spotted fun!!!

Saturday, November 14th, 10am to 2pm at Ferg's in St. Petersburg (1320 Central Avenue). Plenty of parking is available. Two weeks until the big day... our annual fundraising event. This year we've taken in a lot of hardship cases... senior spots, spots needing surgery, high heartworm spots... all the dogs that would otherwise not stand a chance in a shelter. Because of that, we need your help to keep paying our vet bills. This event is our one big yearly way of raising donations. At the event, besides having lots of fun - meeting other dog adopters - great sale items and raffle prizes, etc. - you will meet some of our current foster furbabies. And we have a special surprise for you... something we haven't seen in a LONG time. We will have games for dogs and their humans and of course, our annual costume contest. Will your dog(s) be our cover model for next year's flyer? And St. Petersburg will have their brand new Rays Fire Truck at our event again from 12-2 for photo opportunities with your spotted or non-spotted furkids. So please come on out to say hello, have a fun-fulled day and help our cause continue into our 12th year! Please email me or call me at daldoglady@netzero.net or 727-417-6017 if you have any questions.

These Good Dogs Still Need Homes
They just need somebody to love
As quickly as they appear they disappear, adopters that is, no adoptions for our kids this past month. Our sole save for the month was ROCCO. We'd like to help more... ESPECIALLY THESE TWO, WELLA and SUNNY. Both are sweethearts & both are Dal-mixes. Both sad cases, both heartworm positive, and both out of time at the shelters. THEY NEED FOSTER HOMES NOW!!!!! The only way we can save these two is to have a place to put them. DRTB will pay for all medical bills. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU CAN HELP!
Wella Sunny
We also had two hard losses with CHELSIE & TONY, no matter how many dogs we take through heartworm treatment there is always the risk something will go wrong... sadly it did and our hearts are broken.
So for 2015, with 4 dogs carrying over from 2014, we have taken in an additional 29 dogs, 3 returnees, and -- have been adopted into loving homes. We have 10 care-for-lifers, leaving our current responsibility of caring for 27 Dals & dogs... ANY or ALL could use SPONSORS!
Your help is very much needed, especially getting these dogs noticed at events or shared on social media.
Our Dals & dogs, in various stages of readiness, seeking their forever homes are:
We list all our adoptable dogs on www.Petfinder.com. PLEASE let us know if you can help these dogs with a loving home or getting them to events so that they might get adopted!
