Dear ,
Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty! All thy works shall praise Thy name in earth, and sky, and sea; holy, holy, holy! merciful and mighty, God in Three Persons, blessed Trinity!
While the Bible never explicitly refers to the "Trinity", Scripture clearly states that there is one God yet three separate Persons. (Matthew 28:19, mark 12:29) A Triune God, One yet Three persons in One is a difficult concept. It's been said like this: If you try to explain the Trinity, you will lose your mind, but if you deny it, you will lose your soul.
Many attempts have been made to illustrate the doctrine of the trinity: a three-leaf clover; an egg with its yolk, white, and shell; H2O which can be either water, ice or steam; a man who is at one time a father, a son and a brother. But in the final analysis, these and other illustrations break down somehow. We cannot find any finite analogy which fully explains the doctrine of the Trinity. We simply have to have faith that God revealed it and we believe that our One God exists in Three Persons.
We are so blessed to have the Father God who loves us and gives us eternal life, who provides our every need. To have a gracious Savior, Jesus, who became a man like us, who paid our debt of sin and sympathizes with us in our weakness and feels for us in our sorrow, who also intercedes for us at the Father's right hand and forgives our sin. And, to have a comforter in the Holy Spirit who lives within us, brings us together as the church, teaches us, guides us and makes available to us the tools necessary to live Godly lives.
Lift your heart to God and ask Him to help you get to know him better in the fullness of His Trinity - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Popular Apologist Corrects the Record on What Christianity Is All About !
The Christianity our culture rejects may not be true Christianity at all. So many people today believe they have to be good to be accepted by God, or that the Bible is just a list of do's and don'ts, or that God is far away and unapproachable.
Instead of providing "proofs" about God and the Bible, in this book Alex provides a reason to want to know Jesus. By sharing his own story of the loneliness and alienation of his youth, Alex taps in to universal fears of rejection and loneliness.
We all seek acceptance and purpose--and there's only one solution. Learn how to be anchored in the Truth and security that comes through Christ.

"God for the Rest of Us" will wake you up to the outrageous, extravagant, and sometimes even scandalous love of God for the rest of us--whether you think you are unfit or a misfit, an underdog or overlooked, the least or the lost, the left behind or the left out.
Is God for the people who are forgotten and left out? Is He for the guy who betrayed his wife and left his kids? Is He for the doubters? The skeptics? The atheists? As you read their stories of transformation, you'll begin to imagine how your life could be changed if you truly believe that you are loved with a perfect love. You'll catch a glimpse of God--who is greater than your wildest dreams.

Lazarus occupies a surprising position in the Gospel accounts. Widely known as the man Jesus raised from the dead, his story is actually much broader and richer than that. Living as he did at Bethany, near Jerusalem, Lazarus was uniquely placed to witness the swirl of events around Jesus.
When Jesus Wept, the first novel in The Jerusalem Chronicles series by bestselling authors Bodie and Brock Thoene, unfolds the turbulent times in Judea during Jesus' ministry, centering on the friendship between Jesus and Lazarus. With rich insights from vineyard owners and vine dressers, the Thoenes explore the metaphor of Jesus as the True Vine, harvesting the ancient secrets found in the Old Testament. Weaving the life of Lazarus, who owned a vineyard, into the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ will help you understand it is the hand of Love Divine that holds the knife, that cuts and breaks with such tender and loving touch, and that we who have born some fruit, after the pruning, can bear much more.
Best-selling author and ministry leader Thom S. Rainer drew an exceptional response when he posted a 500-word declaration about church membership to his daily blog. "I Am a Church Member" started a conversation about the attitudes and responsibilities of church members -- rather than the functional and theological issues -- that previous new member primers all but ignored. Thoughtfully expanded to book form, I Am a Church Member begins to remedy the outbreak of inactive or barely committed church members, addressing without apology what is expected of those who join a body of believers. When a person's attitude is consistently biblical and healthy, matters of giving, serving, and so forth will fall into place more naturally. Six intentional chapters with study questions guide this rising discussion: 1. I Will Be a Unifying Church Member 2. I Will Not Let the Church Be About My Preferences and Desires 3. I Will Pray for My Church Leaders 4. I Will Lead My Family to Be Healthy Church Members 5. I Will Be a Functioning Member 6. I Will Treasure Church Membership as a Gift
No one wants to see a church die. And yet, far too many churches are dying. For more than twenty-five years, Dr. Thom Rainer has helped churches grow, reverse the trends of decline, and has autopsied those that have died. From this experience, he has discovered twelve consistent themes among those churches that have died. Yet, it's not gloom and doom because from those twelve themes, lessons on how to keep your church alive have emerged. Whether your church is vibrant or dying, whether you are a pastor or a church member, "Autopsy of a Deceased Church" will walk you through the radical paths necessary to keep your church alive to the glory of God and advancement of Christ's Kingdom

Some Parting Fun...

The pastor was opening his mail one morning. Taking out a single sheet of paper from an envelope, he found written on it only one word: 'FOOL'
The following Sunday, in church, he announced to the congregation, "I have known many people who have written letters to me and forgotten to sign their names. But this week I received a letter from someone who signed his name and had forgotten to write a letter."
