Dear ,
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and do not forget all his benefits-- who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the Pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good as long as you live so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. The LORD works vindication and justice for all who are oppressed. He made known his ways to Moses, his acts to the people of Israel. The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. Psalm 103:1-8
There are some people who would be greatly disappointed if they didn't have something to gripe about. They are so occupied with their little troubles that they lose sight of all their big blessings.
Have you encountered people who seem to enjoy complaining? They complain about the weather, their job, their children, their health and anything else that isn't to their liking. Even Christians complain about things, too often letting their complaints turn into obstacles to Grace; allowing their worry, anger, lack of forgiveness, bitterness, inability to be flexible, etc., to hinder, or even prevent, harmonious fellowship with other believers.
How different the results when we each focus our thoughts and hearts on the One who has set us free! When we turn our eyes upon Jesus and look full in His wonderful face, then the cares of earth grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace. We forget about the little things that we complain about, and begin rejoicing in the things that bring everlasting joy and eternal life.
Before you begin another day, stop to count your blessings instead of dwelling on your troubles. Use the words of Psalm 103 as a guide and sing a song of thanksgiving to the Lord.
Sound His praises! Jesus who bore our sorrows,
Love unbounded, wonderful, deep and strong.
Praise Him! Praise Him! Jesus, our blessed Redeemer! For our sins He suffered, and bled, and died. He our Rock, our hope of eternal salvation, Hail Him! Hail Him! Jesus the Crucified.- Fanny Crosby
Blessings,
Steve

When we see people the way God sees and love the way He loves--without judgment--we can have lasting impact in the lives of others.
Do you have trouble understanding where some people are coming from? Do you find yourself wondering why people do what they do? Nancy Alcorn spent eight years working for the state at a correctional facility for juvenile delinquent girls and investigating child abuse cases, giving her direct encounters with programs that were not producing permanent results of changed lives. Determined to establish a program in which lives would truly be transformed, Nancy started Mercy Ministries of America.
In "Mission of Mercy "Alcorn challenges readers to consider why people behave the way they do, sharing the practical principles that have made Mercy Ministries a success at life transformation. Illustrated by the moving, inspiring testimonies of real women, she demonstrates how we can move from a place of judgment to compassion that leads to action.

Some Parting Fun....

A customer was bothering the waiter in a restaurant. First, he asked that the air conditioning be turned up because he was too hot, then he asked it be turned down cause he was too cold, and so on for about half an hour. Surprisingly, the waiter was very patient, he walked back and forth and never once got angry. So finally, a second customer asked him why he didn't throw out the pest. "Oh, I really mind," said the waiter with a smile. "We don't even have an air conditioner."
