Dear ,
"Then Agrippa said unto Paul, `Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.' "Acts 26:28 (KJV)
King Agrippa flippantly told the Apostle Paul, who had just shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with him, "You almost persuaded me to be a Christian." We must never stop sharing the Gospel with others. We must always realize that a person's eternal soul is at stake. Still, it is ultimately up to the person to yield to the Holy Spirit's call to accept Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
In 1871 Reverend Brundage expounded upon this sad story in Acts, and then ended his Sunday Morning sermon with the words "He who is almost persuaded is almost saved, and to be almost saved is to be entirely lost". P. P. Bliss, who was in the audience, was much impressed with the pastor's powerful closing words, and immediately set about the composition of "Almost Persuaded."
Many souls have been won after the words and music of this powerful hymn are shared following an invitation to receive Christ.
Hymn ("Almost Persuaded"): "Almost persuaded now to believe; Almost persuaded Christ to receive; Seems now some soul to say, `Go, Spirit, go Thy way, Some more convenient day, On Thee I'll call.' "
Blessings, Steve

Special 6-pack, ideal for church giveaways, welcome packets or small group distribution.
Surely there's more than one way to get to heaven? Bestselling author Andy Stanley addresses this popular belief held even among Christians. But believing that all good people go to heaven raises major problems, Stanley reveals. Is goodness not rewarded, then? Is Christianity not fair? Maybe not, he says.
Readers will find out why Jesus taught that goodness is not even a requirement to enter heaven - and why Christianity is beyond fair.
Andy Stanley leads believers and skeptics alike to a grateful awareness of God's enormous grace and mercy.

A Seasoned Journalist Chases Down the Biggest Story in History Is there credible evidence that Jesus of Nazareth really is the Son of God?
Retracing his own spiritual journey from atheism to faith, Lee Strobel, former legal editor of the Chicago Tribune, cross-examines a dozen experts with doctorates from schools like Cambridge, Princeton, and Brandeis who are recognized authorities in their own fields. Strobel challenges them with questions like How reliable is the New Testament? Does evidence for Jesus exist outside the Bible? Is there any reason to believe the resurrection was an actual event?
Strobel's tough, point-blank questions make this Gold Medallion-winning book read like a captivating, fast-paced novel. But it's not fiction. It's a riveting quest for the truth about history's most compelling figure. What will your verdict be in The Case for Christ?

- The wise men were probably from Iran or Saudi Arabia
- Queen Esther's throne was just 100 northeast of Kuwait City

Perfect for students, Bible study leaders, pastors, professors, and others who enjoy Bible study. This easy-to-use Bible atlas presents "Then and Now" maps for five different eras of Bible history, including: - The Beginnings to the Exodus

- The Divided Kingdom to the Persian Empire
- The Life of Jesus
- The Spread of Christianity

Some Parting Fun....

One morning a husband was in the pantry trying to decide between two different types of cereals.
"Maybe you should take half a bowl of each", the wife said jokingly.
"Wow," he said with a smile, "you really think out of the box"...
