Dear ,
Agonized prayer in the garden, sweating drops as of blood. "Father, take this cup from Me if possible; yet not My will, But Yours be done." Betrayed by a kiss, led off to interrogation, Beaten and scourged beyond recognition, Condemned to die a cruel death though He committed no crime--- Yet He offered up no self-defense, nor did He fight back. Led off as a lamb to slaughter, crown of thorns on His head, Bearing the weight of more than the heavy cross--- Bearing the weight of the sins and burdens of the world. Three spikes driven through tortured flesh. Cross raised, driven into the ground. Innocent man crucified between two thieves, Mocked and scorned by those blind to the truth. "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." Three agonizing hours hanging for all to see, Taking on the sin of the world in His body, Bearing the punishment for us all. Abandoned by His Father in His deepest hour of need, Utterly alone in darkness of the soul, He cried out "It is finished," and gave up His life into the Father's hands. Behold the Lamb of God, who was slain for the sins of the world. Laid to rest in a borrowed tomb, Sealed with a stone under sentry guard. All hope seems lost; Evil apparently has won. Early morning three days later- An earthquake, a flash of light. The stone is rolled away. The tomb is empty. Angelic announcement--- "He is not here, He is risen. Why do you search for the living among the dead?" Life triumphs over death, Righteousness over evil, Salvation over condemnation. Hallelujah, He is risen! He is risen indeed!

The Heart of the Story will help you see God's Word in a new and inspiring light.
In the Bible's seemingly disconnected stories you'll discover one grand, unfolding epic---God's story from Genesis onward, and your own story contained within it. To understand the Bible, says author and pastor Randy Frazee, you need bifocal lenses, because two perspectives are involved.
The Lower Story, our story, is actually many stories of men and women interacting with God in the daily course of life. The Upper Story is God's story, the tale of his great, overarching purpose that fits all the individual stories together like panels in one unified mural.
In 31 chapters, The Heart of the Story will open your eyes to God's master-plan unfolding in the lives of the Bible's characters---and in your own life. Discover the heart of God's Upper Story, and the joy that comes as you align your story with God's.

Gold and Silver in the Temple
Download this FREE chart, "Gold and Silver in the Temple," to find out how many tons of precious metals were contributed to build Solomon's Temple 3,000 years ago. King David alone gave more than 100 tons of gold out of his gratitude and love for the Lord. Find out how much was used to build this beautiful "House of Prayer for All Nations," and what it would be worth today.
This beautiful chart is just one that you will find in the book " Rose Guide to the Temple".
