YOU MADE IT OUR BIGGEST SOUPER BOWL EVER!
On Saturday, February 2nd, Fox Valley United Way volunteers participated in the nation's largest youth-led food drive, held on the day before the Super Bowl. Manning tables at several area grocery stores, our wonderful volunteers raised $7,250.00 in cash donations and accepted over 3,365 lbs. in food contributions!
|
All proceeds benefit the Aurora Interfaith and the Kendall County Food Pantries, who can leverage every dollar collected to purchase $6.00 of food. This means the pantries will be able to purchase over $43,000.00 worth of groceries to help feed the hungry in our local communities! Many thanks to all those who gave up their Saturday to help the hungry, and to the area grocery stores who supported the event.
