* Stephanie Burks, Central Region finance manager for UPS, Aurora.
* Jesse Vazquez, Kane County board member and account executive at Konen Insurance, Inc., Aurora.
* Patrick Kelsey, executive vice president at WBK Associates, Ltd.

United Way Testifies at Early Education Budget Hearing
United Way's Jack Kaplan impressed upon state officials the importance of high-quality preschool and home visiting programs during a Joint Early Childhood Budget Hearing on Dec. 3rd in Springfield.
The purpose of the meeting was to advocate for adequate state funding for programs that have proven effective and that save costs in the long run.

A Brighter Holiday

Thanks to the generosity of individual and corporate donors, the Fox Valley United Way's 2012 Holiday Assistance Program provided clothing, toys and grocery gift cards to 113 families including 276 children.
