St. Charles Attorney Joins  

Board of Directors 

Julie ProsciaJulie Proscia, an attorney and partner in the St. Charles office of Chicago-headquartered law firm SmithAmundsen, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Fox Valley United Way.

Fox Valley United Way is proud to partner with the Wackerlin Center for Faith and Action at Aurora University and Waubonsee Community College to provide students with opportunities to make a difference for their neighbors in need.

Waubonsee Gustafuson Scholars

On March 24, about 100 Aurora University students, including Dunham Scholars, assisted with maintenance and landscape projects undertaken at the Fox Valley Park District, Mutual Ground and the new Aurora Interfaith Food Pantry location. Eighty-five Waubonsee Community College Gustafson Scholars participated in similar efforts on April 20th.  For more details click here...

Urgent Action Needed to Prevent Devastating Cuts to Child Care  

The governor's proposed budget includes $85 million in programmatic cuts to the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP). These cuts are deep enough to send thousands of families out of the CCAP and cause providers to close their doors.
