Fox Valley United Way Distributes Funds to Local Food Pantries | |
The generosity of the Fox Valley community during the annual Souper Bowl of Caring Food Drive in February made it possible for Fox Valley United Way to distribute more than $5,000 to our local food pantries.
CEO Michael Meyer presented a check for the $3,252 raised in Kane County to Marilyn Weisner of the Aurora Interfaith Food Pantry, and the $1,914 raised in Kendall County to Maria Spaeth of the Kendall County Food Pantry. Thanks again to the hundreds of volunteers and donors who made this year's event such a big success!
