Our Souper Bowl Was Even Better than the Other One!

Volunteers from Triple Threat Mentoring in Aurora |
Shoppers at the seven participating Jewel-Osco stores, the Montgomery Market and Prisco's Fine Foods donated more than one ton (2,650 lbs., to be exact) of non-perishable food and paper items.
That's a 20 percent increase over last year.
Shoppers also made cash donations of $5,167.00, a 23 percent increase.
Thanks to every shopper who participated in our Souper Bowl Saturday, as well as the dozens of Jewel-Osco, Montgomery Market and Prisco employees and FVUW volunteers from the following organizations:

After Hours Ribbon Cutting
Thank you to everyone who attended our After Hours Ribbon Cutting to help us celebrate our new office location. We enjoyed visiting with those who stopped by, and appreciated hearing great words of support from Mayor Tom Weisner. We are grateful to have found a downtown space that meets our needs and enables us to reduce overhead costs.
Special thanks to the Fox Valley United Way Community Events Committee and the following sponsors of our open house event:
