Mods and Rockers were two conflicting British youth subcultures of the 1960s.  This face-off continues as we examine the overall culture and choice of vehicles of these two groups during the "Mods & Rockers" era in the UK.

Think Spring!!!   Kick-off Car Show Season with us!

We are very excited about this Exotic and Sports Car Show!  The show will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 on the beautiful grounds of the AACA Museum in Hershey, PA.   Past years, when this was the Cool Cars for Cats and Canines show there were over 180 cars and a record attendance hundreds of people participating.

We want to again thank Betsy & Tom Clark for starting such a fabulous exotic and sports car show and leaving a great legacy.   The AACA Museum is excited to be taking over this show and we look forward to continuing it for years to come!

 Behind the Garage Door...
It's been a very busy March with new donations to our collection!

HMS Truckie - 1967 Ford Econoline Conversionvan

This one-of-a-kind custom van was donated here to the AACA Museum by Luther John Deutsch of New Hampshire. The customization was done by Fred Marshalls Vans of Carlisle. This is one of the first, if not THE first customized vans. With a nautical theme throughout the full seascape wrap was hand painted with a brush. Every detail from the wooden bumpers with rope decoration to the wooden plank floors, dash and ceiling is flawless.

Million Mile Volvo - 1987 Volvo 240

Donated by Lehman Motors Volvo

It is one of the few vehicles on the planet that has surpassed the 1,000,000 mile mark. Bought new and serviced with Lehman Volvo since day 1, it was a one man owned car - Selden Cooper.

Needless to say this car has a long and well traveled history. Wrecked several times, and repaired each time (in fact completely repainted by Lehman), this 240 STILL runs and still has the original engine.

 AACA Military Sponsorship Program

This is a new AACA membership program which focuses on introducing retired military members to America's premier collector car organization, AACA.

This program offers a one year complimentary membership (a $35.00 value) to first-time members only. These memberships will enjoy the same club benefits as all AACA members.

For this special program, retired military is defined as someone who has had a career in military service and receives a military pension or someone who retired with a disability from the military.

What a patriotic way to expand their hobby interest and show our gratitude for their service protecting our country. Applications are available from AACA National Headquarters (717-534-1910) and can be downloaded from the AACA website by clicking here . The number of memberships are limited by the funding available. Applications should be mailed to, and questions regarding this program can be directed to:
