Kicking Off Women's History Month in Style!

March is Women's History Month and we're excited to welcome artist Jennifer Thomas, a.k.a. HotRod Jen to showcase her work!

HotRod Jen brings a diversity of art mediums for view from  photography to pinstriping to drawing and glass mosaics.

Also for Women's History month, the AACA Museum is proud to participate a "special edition" of Smithsonian's signature "Museum Day Live!" event. This program encourages all people; but, particularly women and girls of color to explore their nation's museums, cultural institutions, zoos, aquariums, parks and libraries.

Jen will be doing a special program on March 12th at 2:00 pm right here at the AACA Museum.  Jen will be in the gallery with her work beginning at 12:00 noon to meet guests and answer questions about her work.

Our next two-wheeled exhibit "Mods Vs. Rockers" opens March 19th.    Mods and Rockers were two conflicting British youth subcultures of the 1960s.  This face-off continues as we examine the overall culture and choice of vehicles of these two groups during the "Mods & Rockers" era in the UK.

The exhibit will feature approximately two dozen vehicles about half period motorcycles and half period scooters, along with material culture, photographs, and interpretive posters.   We're excited to have three guest curators working together on this exhibit:  Janet Mulligan Bowen, Rob Kain and Dave Russell.

AACA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia

We enjoyed our time at the AACA Annual meeting in Philadelphia.   It's wonderful to connect with all our friends we don't always get a chance to see here at the AACA Museum.

The AACA Museum would like to thank all the AACA Regions and Chapters and individuals who provided donations during the recent annual meeting in Philadelphia and for those who participated in the auction.   We truly appreciate your continued support in helping us to preserve and share the automotive hobby with future generations.

Cammack Tucker Gallery Upgrade

Through the efforts of a matching grant, in 2014, the Cammack Tucker Exhibit now has an upgraded Tucker Tiger Tank display. The new graphic incorporates dynamic colors of how the tank would have looked had it been mass produced for distribution. Also incorporated, are informative labels that include the unique details about the Tiger Tank. In the coming months, other additions will include a 1:6 scale interactive Torpedo Model and neon signs for the exterior of the Tucker dealership.

Grant funding for these projects made possible via the Dauphin County Department of Community & Economic Development, David S. Cammack Foundation and South Hanover Township.
 AACA Military Sponsorship Program

This is a new AACA membership program which focuses on introducing retired military members to America's premier collector car organization, AACA.

This program offers a one year complimentary membership (a $35.00 value) to first-time members only. These memberships will enjoy the same club benefits as all AACA members.

For this special program, retired military is defined as someone who has had a career in military service and receives a military pension or someone who retired with a disability from the military.

What a patriotic way to expand their hobby interest and show our gratitude for their service protecting our country. Applications are available from AACA National Headquarters (717-534-1910) and can be downloaded from the AACA website by clicking here . The number of memberships are limited by the funding available. Applications should be mailed to, and questions regarding this program can be directed to:
