In The Rear View Mirror . . . Meet Week Wrap UP

Another Hershey Meet Week has come and gone and we wanted to share a few recaps from the week!

TorqToberFest was a big hit with hundreds of visitors enjoying casual food, a behind the scenes look at the collection vehicles in our super secret storage building, entertainment, fellowship and fun!    A huge thank you to all our sponsors, vendors, silent auction donors, artists, volunteers and all those who attended!   We're sharing a few photos here, but there are lots more on our Facebook Page for all to enjoy.

Congratulations to Barry Huber who was the winner of this year's Prueitt Family Volunteer Recognition award!

We also made some new friends on the show field!   Our volunteers Bob and Dottie Shultz were showcasing the AACA Museum's Super Truck and got a chance to interact with lots of folks.

Also on the field was the Hagerty Swap Meet Challenge - were they successful in building that truck on the fall meet field in 4 days?

RM Sotheby's reinforced its reputation for the presentation of some of the finest available Brass and Classic Era motor cars at its two-day Hershey sale, generating an overall sales total of $16,344,387, with a very strong 96 percent of all lots sold. The fantastic result represents the company's strongest performance in Pennsylvania, besting its 2014 total by more than 16 percent.

A feature attraction of the AACA Eastern Division Fall Meet, an autumn tradition bringing together hobbyists and collectors from around the world, RM's Hershey sale welcomed bidders from 20 countries, with more than 20 percent representing new clientele. The beautiful weather drew hundreds to the outdoor preview, translating to spirited bidding across the two evening sale sessions.

Complete auction results.
