AACA Museum - Keep Up To Speed

July 9, 2015
Two Great Events this week!

Take a Ride in an Antique Car to Celebrate

National Collector Car Appreciation Day!

Friday, July 10th  11 AM - 1PM

What better way to celebrate National Collector Car Appreciation Day than with a ride in one of the AACA Museum's antique automobiles!   Visit with us on July 10th between 11 AM -1 PM to enjoy an antique car ride around the building and some fabulous exhibits inside.   A great way to show your support for the hobby or introduce a young person to one day become an enthusiast! Do you have an antique or classic car?  Cruise over to the Museum in your car and show it off!   We're also going to provide complimentary ice cream treats, while supplies last!

Our Summer exhibit A Family Affair: Station Wagons is all about bringing back those memories of riding in a station wagon. You've heard us talk about riding in the waaaaaay back - now here's your chance!

The AACA Museum will have 3 cars giving rides for Collector Car Appreciation Day this Friday: 1945 Chrysler, 1966 Plymouth Police Car, 1964 Oldsmobile F85 Station Wagon so you can ride in the waaaaay back! Everyone is welcome to join us from 11-1 and did we mention FREE ice cream treats, while supplies last!

The Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Museum supports the SEMA Action Network (SAN) in declaring July 10, 2015 as National Collector Car Appreciation Day (CCAD). It is a day to help raise awareness of the entire car hobby and its role in American society. This will be the sixth consecutive year for what has become an annual event to recognize the importance of automotive restoration and collection. Each year since 2010, this "holiday" has been marked by a U.S. Senate Resolution at the request of the SAN to honor the classics of the past and the future.
