AACA Museum - Keep Up To Speed

Mother nature is certainly cooperating for our Frozen Party and giving us fantastically frozen weather!   The 3:00 PM Show has SOLD OUT but there are a few tickets remaining for 6:00 PM show.
 
The Disney movie "Frozen" is a crowd favorite and we've created a fun event around this movie to get folks out of the house and cure that February cabin fever!

Festivities will take place on the lower level gallery of the AACA Museum with the highlight being the  Sing-A-Long version of "Frozen"!   You can also look forward to appearances by Elsa and Olaf,  fun snacks including pizza, hot dogs, cookies and beverages.

We encourage you to come dressed  as your favorite Frozen character, and feel free to bring pillows or sleeping bags to enjoy the movie - chairs will also be available.

Pricing: $15 Adults / $10 children 4-12 / Children 3 & under are FREE

We CANNOT GUARANTEE TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT.

As part of our Chocolate Covered February festivities, guests can build their own Kissmobile out of Hershey's chocolate products on President's Day, February 16, 2015 from 1- 3 pm.  Special admission of $7.  Recommended for ages 4 & older.

Students From Ten Pennsylvania Schools to Compete in
2015 Automotive Technology Competition at the AACA Museum

 
When: Thursday, February 19, 2015

10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. - Competition
8:45 a.m. to 9:20 a.m. - Morning Interview Opportunities
1:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Afternoon Interview Opportunities
2:15 p.m. - Awards

Where: Antique Automobile Club of America Museum in Hershey 161 Museum Drive, Hershey, PA

A team of two students from each of the ten top schools were selected for the competition through a written qualifying exam, in which a pool of 94 students from 18 schools participated. To prepare for the competition, students are currently training at new car dealerships in their areas. On competition day, the students will face a test of advanced automotive diagnostic skills on an assigned 2015 vehicle with predetermined defects. The 2015 vehicles will be supplied by area franchised dealerships.

Throughout the month of February Hershey holds a town-wide celebration of all things chocolate!

The AACA Museum will be celebrating with a month long Hershey's Kisses Scavenger Hunt -- How many kisses will you be able to find hidden among our vintage automobiles when you visit?  Guests also enjoy seeing the original Hershey's Kissmobile Cruiser - this specialty vehicle will be on display throughout the month.    At the end of the month we'll pull a random winner from all those who participated to win a 5 lb. Hershey's Chocolate Bar and 4 tickets for a return visit to the AACA Museum.

This is one day a year where we have special exhibits and displays for wedding couples and vendors.   Many of the Museum vehicles will NOT be on display and it will NOT be the normal Museum experience.    If you have a Wedding coming up, it's THE place to be - If you want to visit the AACA Museum to see our collections, please choose an alternate day so you are not disappointed.

New for 2015 - Evening Hours the First Thursday of each month!

The AACA Museum will be open until 9 PM the first Thursday of each month beginning February 5th!
We look forward to serving our visitors who are not able to join us during normal daytime hours.

  Sunday, February 22nd is the annual Wedding Show and while the Museum is open it is not the normal museum experience so we strongly encourage you to visit on an alternate date.
   We apologize for any inconvenience.


Many cars will be removed from the lower level of the AACA Museum to allow for the PAA Competition and the annual Wedding Show.   Consequently, we will be offering 1/2 price admission on February 18, 19, 20 & 21.

New Merchandise is arriving at the Retail Store!


Lotus merchandise is here!  The retail store will feature a selection of Lotus die casts of various scales and recently published books about Colin Chapman, Lotus automobiles and their popularity in Formula 1 racing.  In addition, framed and unframed prints created by Gary Dausch and featured in the Lotus: The Art of Lightness exhibit are available for sale.
