American Classics Set to Shine at RM's Annual Hershey Sale
RM Auctions returns to the Hershey Lodge, October 9 - 10, for its highly anticipated eighth annual Hershey sale. A popular fixture on the global collector car calendar, the auction is a featured attraction of the AACA Eastern Division Fall meet, and is set to lift the gavel on an impressive roster of more than 160 automobiles, two boats and select memorabilia.
In addition to the presentation of two prominent private collections, the sale offers a number of standout American Classics, including a 1933 Chrysler CL Imperial Dual-Windshield Phaeton by LeBaron. One of just 17 remaining examples, of which a handful have been restored, the Imperial represents Chrysler's ultimate aesthetic statement of the Classic Era. Displayed at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in 2004 following a highly detailed restoration, the recently serviced Chrysler is a stunning, wonderful driving example of these rare coachbuilt automobiles.
