Cruise through time as you enjoy vintage vehicles from the early 1900's through the 1970's in our main gallery. Each decade of vehicles is arranged to correspond to a cross-country journey from New York to San Francisco complete with themed settings. Our lower level gallery features The Museum of Bus Transportation collection of more than 10 full sized antique buses along with an original 1940's Valentine Diner where visitors can learn diner trivia. Special collection vehicles include Betty White's Cadillac, Whitney Houston's Rolls-Royce Limousine and the Lakeland Bus used in the movie "Forrest Gump." Other exhibit items include motorcycles, motor scooters and a collection of more than 100 different hood ornaments.
From January 19-21, guests can participate in our Museum wide scavenger hunt to locate your favorite "Cars" from the Disney-Pixar Cars movie that are hidden throughout the Museum - How many can you find? Kids will love our interactive play area where they can create their own car then race it down a ramp, along with the interactive photo stop where "kids" of all ages can pretend to drive a vintage car or truck.
