When the colon gets sluggish or shuts down the entire body gets backed up and every system suffers - especially the liver and immune system.  Many people suffer from digestive ailments simply because they lack the knowledge necessary to keep their colons clean, regular and healthy.  In this class Jacalyn Booth will share the basics on digestive health and colon care which will help support you on the path to vibrant heath.  Topics will include:


 

w the importance and impact of digestive health on the rest of our body 

w anatomy of the digestive system

w common digestive pathology including constipation, irritable bowel syndrome and others

w how our emotions and mental outlook affect our digestion

w the use of cleansing, fasting and colonics in colon care

w proper eating habits and nutrition for digestive health


 

 

Jacalyn Booth is a Certified Colon Hydrotherapist, Certified Massage Therapist, Certified Movement Expression Facilitator and Certified Dance Aliveā„¢ Instructor.  She is the owner of Ojai Colon Therapy and brings more than 30 years of experience, working  in various healing modalities, to the art, presence and integrity of her colon therapy practice.

Matt May

Is a graduate of the University of Michigan and post-graduate studies at The University of Edinburgh in Scotland. He is a California certified and Nationally Registered Paramedic since 2000 and has been a Professional Firefighter since 2001. Matt has over 10 years of emergency 911 response. He is a nationally certified instructor for wilderness emergency medicine and is accredited for both Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Matt is an American Heart Association Instructor for CPR/AED courses.

Matt is also been the owner of 4Points Expeditions, providing wilderness and emergency medical training as well as wilderness adventure trips across the US and internationally.
