Currently serves as the Executive Director of White Stone Medical Foundation in La Center, WA, and is the developer of Amnion �. In the early 70's she graduated from UCSB as a sculptor and proceeded to bring her interest in the figure and anatomy by attending the Santa Barbara School of Massage. Since 1979 she has practiced land-based modalities and has transitioned into teaching somatic and aquatic therapies. Mary received her certification as an instructor of Watsu I in 2001 and Watsu II in 2005 from the Worldwide Aquatic Body Workers Association (WABA), and has served on the WABA Ethics Committee as Chairperson 2004-2005. In addition to her 2000+ hr WABA (aquatic) training, Mary completed her Licensed Massage Practitioner in Washington 2001-2002, her Prenatal Psychotherapy training with Ray Castellino 2005-2007, and her Aquatic Integrative Therapist Training (Prenatal psychology in water) with David Sawyer 2000-2007, her Biodynamic Cranial Sacral training with Anna and John Chitty 2007-2009. Combining her fine sense of creativity and years of working with private clients Mary has launched her own work Amnion �. This work is based on the possibility that we are all still enveloped by the protective mantel of the amnion.
