Cozzoli Machine Company to Exhibit at Interpack 2014

Somerset, NJ, March 2014--Cozzoli Machine Company will be exhibiting and demonstrating filling, checkweighing, stoppering and trayloading equipment at Interpack May 8 - 14, 2014, Düsseldorf, Germany. The CR200i/CWS Rotary Filling, Checkweighing and Stoppering Machine is based on the Cozzoli CR200/400 family of high speed (400+ per minute) pharmaceutical design filling monoblocks. The indexing-motion checkweigh model CR200i/CWS offers speeds of 60-70 vials per minute. Production and cost-saving features include a compact machine footprint and continuous control of the vial for fill, weigh and stoppering functions. The machine is designed for quick and easy changeovers. The peristaltic fillers offer a volumetric accuracy of better than ±1% with fills from 1ml to 2.5 ml. This machine is capable of full insertion of 13mm and 20mm standard stoppers and partial insertion of 13mm and20mm slotted stoppers.

When using laminar air flow, the CR200i's open flow-through design of the central star-wheel significantly lowers particle counts to well under GMP standards. The PLC controlled machine has a stainless steel exterior with all liquid contact parts fabricated of 316 stainless steel and medical grade silicone to accommodate sterile requirements. It also features down-vial eliminator, no container-no fill, and make-up and back-up direction systems. This filling line will use a single control system and servo controlled motions are utilized throughout the line.

The BT15 Tray Loader is a heavy duty, high performance machine designed for the loading of vials into trays after the filling/stoppering process. With fully or partially inserted stoppers, the filled vials are gently loaded into 3-sided trays. This machine has been specifically designed for the use in a class 100 clean room environment. Each machine is adapted for your specific application and handles a variety of tray sizes. A vial pusher is adjustable to fit your tray's loading width. The BT15 is provided with a shuttle table that holds two trays simultaneously. While one tray is being loaded with vials, an operator places another tray into the empty position. The shuttle table is servo motor driven and can be shifted back and forth during loading, allowing for a stagger pattern if desired. Tray patterns are stored in the PLC memory and recalled as needed including the number of vials per row and number of rows based on tray dimensions and the vial diameter.

Our Lab, Pilot and Small Production Equipment puts traditional Cozzoli precision on the table-top, in compact designs that are easy to set up, operate, clean and sterilize. Use of 316L stainless steel for product contact parts and innovative Cozzoli pump and valve designs provide reliability and product purity. We will showcase our PF2-TT Powder Filler and our F400X-SS liquid filler.    

 The PF2TT Tabletop Powder Filler is designed to promote the highest level of performance for accuracy, repeatability and easy cleaning. Totally enclosed product pathway with no abrading parts ensures zero powder contamination. Fine tuning fill-volume adjustments can be made on the fly without tools. This machine is perfect for labs or limited production facilities.

The F400X-SS Single Piston Filler is your machine for filling liquids at low  production ra  tes with high accuracy. Fills aqueous solutions to light oils, easy to clean and sterilize, and is designed   for rapid changeover. Shipped fully assembled and ready to use.
