The CPIA & our event sponsor
Lathrop & Gage LLP are excited to host a casual evening at Boulder Country Club with internationally recognized leader of men and operations retired Admiral Scott M

oore. The Admiral has demonstrated his leadership from the deserts of Iraq to the mountains of Afghanistan, to the seas off the Somali coast where he led the operation that saved Captain Phillips. In an informal environment, attendees will get an opportunity to talk with this extraordinary man.
The Admiral will describe his views on the use and importance of modern sensing and photonics technology to the Navy SEALs. Modern photonics has enabled information gathering over greater distances, wider coverages and unprecedented update rates providing a greater degree of situational awareness and target effectiveness. The future needs and expectations of photonics will provide the basis for wide ranging concepts and discussions.
Admiral Moore's distinguished service over the course of three decades in the Navy is marked by command positions at SEAL Team 2, and more recently, the Naval Special Warfare Development Group, the nation's premiere special operations unit. He also served as the Director of the Counterterrorism Division within the National Security Council at the White House, the Deputy Director for Special Operations and Counterterrorism on the Joint Staff, and the Deputy Commander for Operations for the Office of the Defense Representative in Pakistan. Prior to his recent retirement, Admiral Moore served as the Deputy Commander of the Naval Special Warfare command, a 7000 person Navy organization comprised of SEALs, SWCC (Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewmen) and support personnel.
