Nursing students begin first clinicals 
Rochester College began offering the Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011. The following year, the program received accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Students began clinicals at Crittenton Hospital this year. To read about the progress, click here.
Todd honored by national organization
Dr. John Todd, professor of political science, was just named 2013 Outstanding Disabled Veteran of the Year. The award was presented at the national convention of the Disabled American Veterans. President Obama also spoke at the convention. Click here to read a news story.

Alumni are invited to meet Dr. John Tyson, the new college president, at a private reception on Sunday, Aug. 25 and then join the students for the Ice Cream Olympics. Two of the ice cream makers are even making special Rochester College flavors. To register, click here.
Fall Lake Norcentra Day scheduled
Alumni and friends are encouraged to assist with efforts to improve another campus area near Lake Norcentra. On Saturday, Sept. 14, volunteers will clear the area connecting the lake and Clinton River Trail. Lunch will be provided. Click here to let us know you can help.
