One week from today, American Craft Week begins its 5th annual event, the largest and most fun ever! We want to sincerely thank everyone who participates, sponsors and works so hard to make this the nation's largest celebration of American craft.

Here are some facts:
  • We have ACW events in 48 states. We are missing just Hawaii and Louisiana. If you know anyone from either state who could join, please let us know or contact them directly. It's not too late to sign up!
  • We have more sponsors than ever before - a total of 31 generous, craft-loving organizations, wholesale shows, convention & visitor bureaus, state tourism departments and festivals. See them on our homepage, www.americancraftweek.com, and if you have the opportunity, please thank them for their support!
  • While you are on the site, take a look at the participants. We have three special pages for huge celebrations in their respective states, Western North Carolina Celebrates ACW, Mendocino County Celebrates ACW (California) and Vermont Celebrates ACW. We have several new and growing regions, notably Virginia and Fargo-Moorehead. You can find huge celebrations in Pennsylvania and Maine. In many areas we have our first participants, such as New Hampshire, South Dakota, Alaska, and Utah. Every day we talk to people all around the country with the same goal, spotlighting American craft.
Thank you to all our CRAFT members who are participating and holding events in their stores and studios! We appreciate your creativity and resourcefulness and we hope you

Make sure you have liked our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/americancraftweek. Each day during ACW we will be spotlighting one of the winners in our contest, "American Craft Is....?" You'll be convinced we are in a very amazing industry!
