Anthony Stoneware

Anthony Stoneware is an American pottery founded in 1966, with the vision & passion to produce functional ceramic ware of high material integrity, excellent design and pleasing aesthetic.

Our "GALLERY COLLECTION" has been well received in fine craft galleries nationally for many years. Our "for the BIRDS COLLECTION" has been very well received at the Atlanta "BIRDWATCH AMERICA" marketplace, which services WILD BIRD CENTERS, WILD BIRDS UNLIMITED, many independent birding & nature retailers as well as garden centers from the Florida Keys to Anchorage, Alaska.

Another silly sign, but it made me laugh!

And then it got me to thinking, where can we expect to find help? Life is not easy these days, even with all the "progress" we read about every day. And certainly our world of retail and wholesale is no hammock on the beach. We all could use a little help.

So here's a suggestion. Use your CRAFT connections as a source of inspiration. Get involved with us. When you are at a tradeshow, stop at the CRAFT booth and chat a while. We'll be at two August shows, ACRE Northeast in New Jersey and NY NOW in the Big Apple.

While shows are an investment, attending them lets you find (and sell) new products and displays, and just as importantly, network with your peers and exchange ideas. Take advantage of the educational opportunities at the shows, there are lots of helpful ideas there, too.

Consider attending CRAFT: The Summit, August 15, the day between ACRE and NY NOW. These speakers are incredible business pros. People pay hundreds of dollars for their consulting "help"! You will glean information on trends, marketing and running your business that could revolutionize what you are doing every day.

Sign up for American Craft Week, even if you don't want to do a big event. Put a sign in the window at the least - the whole idea is to call the public's attention to handmade American goods. If we don't do that - we the people who make and sell these goods - who will? Helping our industry is helping yourself!

Contribute your ideas and time, questions and concerns to CRAFT! If your membership is due, renew and get involved. We are reenergized and we want to help, so welcome aboard!

Call for Booth Numbers

Because they are so close together, we will be doing one email with information for both ACRE Northeast and NY NOW. If you have a booth at either show, please send your booth number and any show specials to rani@randomactsart.com by Wednesday, August 6th.
