THE LATEST AND GREATEST NEWS

 

At its March meeting, the CRAFT Board of Directors voted on a new slate of officers. We are pleased to report the following directors will serve a 2 year term:

President: Diane Sulg, Celebration Arts, Charlotte, NC

Vice President: Greg Worden, Vermont Artisans  

Gallery, Brattleboro, VT

Treasurer: Cari Luchau, C. Lizzy's, Fargo, ND

 

The following directors will serve with them on the Executive Committee

VP for Education: Donna Milstein, Donna Milstein  

Consulting, Houston, TX

 VP for ACW: Sherry Masters, Art Connections,  

Asheville, NC

Secretary: Maud Boleman, Black Mountain  

Studios, Swannanoa, NC

 

 

In addition, Diane Sulg becomes the organization's first Executive Director. Her responsibilities will include organizing that position, outlining and executing its responsibilities with a particular focus on obtaining grants for CRAFT and its programs. She will remain in her position with the American Craft Week committee which she co-chairs with Sherry Masters.

 

The Board unanimously commended outgoing President, Karen Hohler for her exceptional service to CRAFT. Karen's commitment to CRAFT is greatly appreciated by all!
